Tales of Rock: Michael Jackson Impersonator Amazes Fans with Uncanny Resemblance to the Late Singer

Viral video of Micheal Jackson’s impersonator on Instagram has left fans in shock and according to most people, the resemblance is truly scary.

Celebrity impersonator Sergio Cortes’s uncanny resemblance to the late pop star Michael Jackson is jaw-dropping.

Sergio Cortez is one of Michael’s many impersonators, unlike the others who go to grave lengths to achieve this similarity, Sergio has never had to go under the knife for cosmetic surgery to modify his facial appearance, its all-natural.

The late pop star has the second-highest number of impersonators to his name after Elvis Presley, each trying to outdo the other, but only Sergio comes close.

Over the years, Sergio had to consistently practice moves and undergo voice training to perfect his craft. In the now-viral video posted on his Instagram page, Sergio shared the details of a show holding in Thailand on December 23.

He captioned it: “Thayiland Dec 23 😊♥️” Sergio’s fans who were in awe reacted with their comments. A fan, who wants to experience him perform, had this to say:

“I hope you can come to China. Do you have plans?”

Another wrote:

“the Michael Jackson number 2. Amazing, the best impersonator of Michael Jackson.”

Reactions have continued to trail the video as Micheal’s fans worldwide have been in disbelief at the uncanny resemblance. A twitter user shared Sergio’s video and pictures. She wrote:

“Instant double-take when you see Sergio, aka Michael Jackson. Sergio Cortes looks so much like Michael Jackson, and it’s scary.”

Twitter users also chronicled their thoughts in the comment section. One tweep wrote:

“This freaked me out. I had to say..ok He isn’t still alive..#RIP MJ.”

Another tweep who was surprised at the resemblance wrote:

“OMGGGGG wowww 😮 He looks so much like Michael and I never have said that about anyone.”

Sergio graces invitations to Micheal Jackson’s tribute shows, where he puts out a stellar performance.

Although no one captures the crowd like Michael Jackson, Sergio’s performances come a close second as he dedicates time to his craft.

A look at his Instagram posts shows he has been invited to several “Michael Jackson tribute shows” across the world. He also has a YouTube page where he posts videos of his performances.

Sergio’s fan base is slowly increasing as he gets invited to talk shows and trailed by paparazzi.

Celebrity impersonators are professional lookalikes of celebrities. This impersonators grace events and act the path in exchange for money and fame.

Tales of Rock: ‘DESTROYED BY DRUGS’: Elton John says Michael Jackson was a ‘walking drug addict’

Elton John believes drug addiction made Michael Jackson’s later years hell.

In his new memoir Me: Elton John, the I’m Still Standing singer opens up about his relationship with the late King of Pop, who he had known “since he was 13 (or) 14 years old”, admitting he became concerned for him in adulthood due to his bizarre behaviour.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at a special orchestral screening of the musical biopic Rocketman with the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, Elton claimed the star became a “walking drug addict” in his later years before his death, aged just 50, from an overdose of sedatives in 2009.

“What happened to him was such a tragedy, with the drugs and I don’t think he had a particularly happy life leading up to his big success,” the Tiny Dancer star, 72, said. “I think success is hard to deal with and I think Michael found it hard and became isolated.

“It was awkward to be around him. It was tragic to be around him,” he continues. “This was someone who was one of the most talented people to come on Earth, and it was so sad to see him destroyed by the drugs … He was a walking drug addict and was on everything possible.”

Elton, who has his own well-documented history with drug addiction, added it’s “upsetting when you see someone that you care about (suffering) and you can’t do anything about it.”

The rocker’s memoir, Me, is out now.

Tales of Rock – Michael Jackson Uses Dangerous Anesthesia to Sleep

When Michael Jackson’s hair caught fire after a pyrotechnic device malfunctioned above his head while filming a Pepsi commercial in 1984, at the time it seemed like a fluke accident that he quickly moved on from. But his process of recovery profoundly affected his life in two ways. One, it got him started on altering his appearance through cosmetic surgery. Two, it gave him his first exposure to prescription painkillers. For the next quarter-century, Jackson’s reliance on drugs vacillated.

In times of stress, he abused them and engaged in hardcore financial malfeasance to numb himself from the mental toll of being repeatedly accused of child molestation and surrounded by a galaxy of managers, lawyers, Arab royalty and entertainment industry players eager to get a piece of him—none more ruthless about it than his own family. But most of all, he used drugs to sleep.

A star of Jackson’s stature didn’t get drugs like an ordinary person. He’d shop for a doctor and then use him to get what he needed conveniently. It was this type of arrangement that led him to get addicted to propofol, a hypnotic form of anesthesia that induces a deep sleep but that is only safe when administered in a clinical setting. Jackson used this as casually as NyQuil, referring to it as “my milk.”

In June 2009, while preparing for a series of concerts at London’s O2 Arena that would have either been a massive comeback or giant fiasco (we’ll never really know which) Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, put him under with propofol and he never came back. He was 50 years old. Conrad is now serving time in prison for charges related to Jackson’s death.

Say what you will about this man, but Michael Jackson will always be a national treasure to me and a gift to the world of music.

I’m just a guy writing a dating and relationship blog here. I love writing Tales of Rock and always have a tale to tell.

But Micheal Jackson is a beautiful, tortured soul who rose out of abuse and became one of the greatest musical voices of our generation. He took the darkness and turned it into light.

Thank you, Michael. I’m so sorry what happened to you.

Charles

Tales of Rock – Madonna Almost Made Albums With Michael Jackson And Prince

“To write songs together is a very intimate experience,”

Hey, did you know Madonna and Michael Jackson used to date?

In 1991, Michael and Madonna had been wanting to collaborate on an album for a short while, so they did what any sane performer would do and started pseudo-dating. The couple would arrange dinner dates, watch movies together, and at one point even attended the Oscars as each other’s dates. They were just “being silly,” as Madge puts it — “silly” being what famous artists think of conventional relationships.

Madonna claimed that their sort-of romance was necessary for the two artists to get to know each other before they jumped into recording an album. According to her, “To write songs together is a very intimate experience,” and apparently after you have survived the Darwinian slaughter that is early relationships you are strong enough as two people to sit in a booth together and sing into a microphone.

Ironically, it seemed that Madonna’s intensity was exactly why the whole thing fell apart. According to Jackson, Madonna was too demanding and would attempt to dictate where they would go on dates, which would lead to a debate over whether or not the couple would visit Disneyland together, which was absolutely a deal-breaker for Jackson. Then, when the collaboration had finally started, Jackson balked at Madge’s risque lyrics, preferring a love song or ballad over her traditionally sexy tunes, and ducked out of the project after a meeting with the pop star left him feeling anxious. Michael admitted that Madonna scared him, and the album was scrapped completely.

But there was another performer whose collaboration with Madonna would have arguably been just as amazing — Prince. And you can bet your ass the bendy sex-gnome wasn’t afraid of some risque lyrics. After joining forces on a couple of songs, Madonna’s manager had the brilliant idea to send the pair on a world tour. But after being approached with the idea, Prince graciously turned it down citing concern for the world’s mental health, claiming that the planet just wasn’t ready to cope with their simultaneous greatness. You may recognize this as being both Prince-Speak for “I don’t feel like doing that,” and a thing that he earnestly believed.
